Scent and texture

Scent:

Apothica carries a rich, herbal earthy scent. Through the slow infusion process, the natural scent of tallow is softened and refined transforming it into something reminiscent of an apothecary filled with herbs and sunshine.

Texture:

Buttery and smooth, melting easily into the skin

As tallow is a natural fat, it is influenced by temperature - becoming firmer in the winter and softer in the heat of summer. Variations in batches reflect the seasonal nature of the ingredients and the individuality of each animal.

How to Use

Apply morning and night to clean skin. Rub the desired amount between fingers or palms until melted and soft and apply to face and body.

Storage

Tallow is a natural fat and therefore will change consistency according to the weather. On cold days the tallow will become more firm, whilst on warm days it will become very soft. If the tallow is firm from the cold, it will soften beautifully when warmed up between the hands or fingers, ready to use.

Ideally store in a cool room, such as a bathroom for ideal consistency and longevity.

Use within 6-9 months of opening. Store out of direct sunlight.

    The best soothing and nourishing balm.

    I feel like my skin just drinks up all the goodness from the balm and makes my skin soft and glowy. I love the subtle scent of the Apotheca too, it's very soothing. I use it on my son's face it and helps soothe his eczema and protects his skin from becoming irritated from things like acidic foods. Highly recommend this for anyone that suffers from seasonal eczema, it's been a game changer for us!

    Face and body balm

    The calendula and lavender face and body balm is just Devine ! It smells incredible, fresh lavender and a silky smooth application ! So far my daughter and I truly love this product. We have eczema and prone to dermatitis and just after 2-3 days my daughter's eczema started to reduce and calm down .

    natural Botox for your face

    I’ve been using this tallow balm for over a month now and it has heavily reduced wrinkle lines in my face, especially around my eyes and frown lines on forehead. I’ve used many eye creams in the past and nothing has worked like this.

    Very brightening too, and love that it’s safe to use on little ones in the family home. This will be a staple in my skincare products for life.

    Tales of Tallow🤍✨

    I’ve used many different tallows throughout pregnancy and postpartum but this is by FAR my favourite. It’s got the best smell; soothing and calm. I lather myself in this every evening as a part of my self care routine and it’s one of the favorite parts of my day!
