Tallow has been trusted in skincare for generations because its unique fatty acid profile closely resembles the natural oil found in healthy human skin. This allows it to absorb beautifully while helping support the skin's natural moisture barrier without leaving a heavy or greasy feel.
Naturally rich in vitamins A, D E and K, along with beneficial fatty acids, tallow helps nourish dry, sensitive and mature skin, leaving it feeling soft, supple and deeply moisturised.
At Sẽlkyn, we slowly infuse whole certified organic botanical compounds to become part of every balm. The result is a rich, luxurious moisturiser handcrafted in Australia using certified organic ingredients, with no industrial seed oils or unnecessary fillers.
Tallow is a natural fat and therefore will change consistency according to the weather. On cold days the tallow will become more firm, whilst on warm days it will become very soft. If the tallow is firm from the cold, it will soften beautifully when warmed up between the hands or fingers, ready to use.
Ideally store in a cool room, such as a bathroom for ideal consistency and longevity.
Use within 6-9 months of opening. Store out of direct sunlight.
