Where does our tallow come from?

Our tallow begins its journey with a local organic butcher who works directly with farmers in the Byron Bay hinterland. These farmers are committed to sustainable and non-toxic practices, raising their animals on clean pasture without harmful chemicals. This means healthier land, healthier animals, and ultimately a healthier product for your skin.

Once sourced, we take the process into our own hands. At Sēlkyn Tallow, we render the tallow ourselves, using traditional slow methods to preserve its rich nutrients — vitamins A, D, E, and K — ensuring the highest possible quality. By doing this in-house, we can guarantee purity and craftsmanship at every stage.
